MRGC members meet on the first Thursday of each month. Our normal meeting place, the Outdoor Adventure Center, is slated for demolition. Until further notice, we are meeting at Perry’s Restaurant in Odenton, MD. Perry's is just up the road from the Odenton Shopping Center on the North side on Route 175.

We will be meeting in the banquet hall in back of the building at our normal time, 1900 hours, but as an added benefit, it you want to come early, you can join us for dinner at 1800 hours. We would be glad to have you and your family join us. The more people that attend, the better the meeting, please attend if possible.
The Meade Rod & Gun Club conducts NRA firearm training courses, Civilian Marksmanship Program Marksmanship Clinics, Fishing Rodeos and a variety of other related activities. Please see the Activities page for event schedules and the latest activities.
The Meade Rod & Gun Club currently has approximately 150 members. Membership dues for the Club are 25.00 dollars for the first year and 15.00 dollars per year for renewal for individuals. The Club also offers Family Memberships for 30.00 dollars per year for new members and 25.00 dollars per year for renewal membership. Junior memberships available for 1.00 dollar. The year runs July through June.
New club members are required to be members of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and are required to maintain their NRA memberships. Using our link to join the NRA, new members or renewals save $10 for a one year subscription ($25 with savings). Our members can also join/renew for 3 years for $70 (a $15 savings), or 5 years for $100 (a $25 savings). But you must use our link for the savings.

Buy an M1 GARAND from the Civilian Marksmanship Program!
The Meade Rod & Gun Club conducts M1 Garand Marksmanship Clinics which fulfill the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) firing requirement to allow attendees to purchase an M1 Garand or other rifle from the CMP. See the Garand Clinic page for more details.
Special note: to obtain CMP M1 Garands, the applicant must:
- Be a citizen of the United States and provide proof of age
- Be a member of a CMP Affiliated Organization
- Be a participant in a marksmanship or other firearms program
- Be legally eligible to purchase firearms
